About Our School and Staff


At Epic CNC Training Academy our instructors are professional CNC operators and programmers with at least 20 years' experience. You'll train on high-end CNC equipment and machine parts to satisfy real customer job requests.

Mark Dyer

Journeyman Tool

Mark is currently the lead instructor at Epic CNC Training Academy. A Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, Mark started his career in this industry in 1973 as a Machinist and Machine Tool Builder. In 1981 he took a position with GM where he began his Tool and Die apprenticeship, advancing through many positions to General Supervisor for Tool and Die where he was ultimately responsible for 7 stamping lines, 4 hood assembly lines, and 16 die makers.

In 2009 Mark retired from GM and took a position as Process Engineer with Epic Machine, Inc. Mark has been instrumental in the development and success of the Epic CNC Training Academy. Applying practical experience and knowledge in the industry, Mark has been an asset in the development of the Academy's curriculum and is currently holding the position of lead instructor.
